Atlanta – March 1, 2018 – Linq3 announced today that Carole Hedinger joined the company as Consultant effective March 1, 2018. Carole serves as management and operational advisor.

Carole served as executive director of the New Jersey Lottery from June 2010 until her retirement in December 2018.Under her leadership, the lottery achieved annual sales of more than $3 billion with net revenue of nearly $1 billion.As director, Carole managed the unique public/private partnership with Northstar New Jersey Lottery Group, LLC that provides sales and marketing services to the lottery.She previously served the New Jersey Lottery as deputy executive director from 1994 until she was appointed acting director from 2001 until 2003.In June, 2010, Gov. Chris Christie appointed Carole as executive director. Prior to serving at the Lottery, she spent more than two decades working in public accounting specializing in forensic accounting.

In addition to her responsibilities as executive director of the New Jersey Lottery, Carole served on the Executive Committee of NASPL as their Region 1 Director and was a member of the World Lottery Association Audit Committee. She is a former member of the AICPA Council, is a current member and Past President of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and chairs the Citizens Advisory Board of Health South Rehabilitation Hospital.She formerly served for nineteen years as a Trustee of the Stockton University of New Jersey which she chaired from 1997 to 1999.

In 2016, Carole was the first woman and only the fifth person to be awarded the Major Peter J. O’Connell Lottery Industry Lifetime Achievement Award by the Public Gaming Research Institute.In 2017, she was also awarded the PGRI Lottery Industry Statesperson Award.

Carole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgian Court University in New Jersey, is a Certified Public Accountant, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
