Atlanta – August 20, 2018 – Linq3 announced the appointment of Matt Dillard as Chief Legal Officer effective August 20, 2018. He is responsible for all company legal matters.
Matt has 20 years of expertise as in-house legal counsel for technology-centered organizations. He is both an attorney and engineer. His specializations include information technology, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and privacy and data protection.
Most recently, Matt was Deputy General Counsel – Operations as well as the Global Vice President of Legal Technology for Travelport. During his 12-years with Travelport, Matt was based in Atlanta as well as London.
Previously, Matt was an associate attorney with the Atlanta law firm now known as Kilpatrick Townsend. Before his legal career, Matt worked as a legislative assistant in the U.S. Congress and as a research engineer.
Matt earned his JD from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech’s School of Materials Science and Engineering. He is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.
